1st Collision Center opened its doors on September 1st, 2006. The owner, Pete McGoldrick, has been in the body shop industry since 1984 and has been a body shop owner since 1991. 

We are located inside the Simi Valley Chevrolet dealership – get directions – and we are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We have plenty of parking and storage, and if needed, we can arrange for car rental for our customers.

The shop handles different direct repair programs including Automobile Club, MAPFRE, Liberty Mutual and Travelers. We also handle repairs through all car insurance companies and welcome car owners in need of owner pay repair work. Our staff is I-CAR certified and continuing education is required.

At 1st Collision we believe in using brand new OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts for our repairs. Typically, the parts are dictated by the car owner’s policy, what the owners authorized under their policy with their insurance company. If your insurance company states that we use an aftermarket part to keep the cost of the repair low, we have programs that we use to submit an estimate to the parts departments of various car manufacturers so that they match the price and we get brand new OEM parts for your car.

Our bodywork and paintwork is covered under a written warranty for as long as you own the car. The parts are covered under their own warranty from the places that produce them, like GM, Honda or BMW.
